Other Kansas law libraries can be found on our Resources page. Most Kansas counties have law libraries; by statute, law library trustees must provide reasonable access to the public.

If you're looking for something in particular and can't find it, please drop us a note. We'll do our best to point you in the right direction.

On January 1, 2024, the LCLL began its evolution into a virtual law library with electronic resources housed offsite. Updates will be posted once this plan is finalized. The former LCLL on the 3rd floor of the Lyon County Courthouse contains a few print volumes of the Kansas Bar Association's Handbooks. Inquire at the Clerk of the District Court office (Lyon County Courthouse, Rm 203) regarding access. We regret that more personalized assistance is currently unavailable. Regardless, we are pleased that you found us and we hope you find the information contained on our website useful.

Please note: The information on this site is checked frequently to ensure accuracy and functionality. If you encounter any difficulty accessing information through one of our links, please drop a note to the webmaster (form below).

The purpose of the Lyon County Law Library (LCLL) is to provide access to legal information for attorneys and to help the public learn to use legal resources.

Looking for the online catalog? It was discontinued at the end of 2023.
