Lyon County Law Library

Established by Kansas state statute (K.S.A. 20-3126), the Lyon County Law Library exists in two Emporia locations: the Courthouse at 430 Commercial St and the Emporia Public Library at 110 East Sixth Avenue.

The former consists of a small print collection that is primarily used by attorneys and judges. The latter is a dedicated computer terminal for attorneys and public use. This terminal provides access to Westlaw and contains digital copies of most Kansas Bar Association Handbooks.

The public library offers more availability than the courthouse, which is closed on weekends. Visit the public library's website for service hours.
